The Commercial Pathology Lab

The commercial pathology lab, using Corista’s DP3 can now accept and process tissue specimens, create glass slides, and then digitize them using any whole slide scanner.  They can then post the digital images for access and viewing by each remote technical client.

Many medical facilities regularly turn to commercial labs to provide the stains and tests needed for specialized histology services. In the past, these labs have had to send the slides back to each client via overnight services.

With Corista’s DP3, images are scanned and presented for each client digitally, speeding the response of the lab to their clients, dramatically decreasing turnaround time.
