Selecting the Right Deployment Model

The Choice is Yours

Corista’s integrated solutions support several deployment options. You can choose the solution that best suits your needs to provide external access to your pathologists, infrastructure and services.

Option 1: The DP3 Enterprise Deployment Model

Maintain ultimate internal control

In the Enterprise model, you maintain the utmost control when a DP3 portal server is connected with one or more image servers within your own infrastructure. The Enterprise model can be utilized for internal use or configured as a hub-spoke model that connects remote facilities over VPN connections. DP3 is easily integrated with your organization’s existing systems including your LIS or Active Directory or Single Sign-On. Portal access is limited to the users within your network or remote users you specifically authorize to be connected via VPNs.

Option 2: The DP3 Private Cloud Deployment Model

Combine internal control & external access

Corista’s DP3 Private Cloud provides remote and referring sites access to your organization for case and image uploads with DP3’s Image Link while ensuring your IT specialists are firmly in control of the web based activity within your own data center. This model secures external collaboration and access using a fully encrypted SSL.

Option 3: The DP3 Worldwide Cloud Deployment Model

Maintain ultimate external ease of access

The DP3 Public Cloud model resides on Amazon Web Services (AWS) HIPAA infrastructure worldwide. This model allows you maximum ease of access, with the ability to upload and collaborate on cases – anywhere with anyone – without establishing a network of VPNs. Users can access specialist physician groups easily and securely in a fully encrypted application via SSL. The DP3 Cloud provides ease of global portal access, enabling communications with referring physicians and expert pathologists worldwide.

Enterprise Security

Data is fully encrypted within DP3 – both at rest and during transit – to protect PHI. Access is limited to HTTPS using the latest TLS (transport layer security) encryption and ciphers.

For Enterprise and Private Cloud deployments, Corista enforces a single tenancy model for all customer infrastructure components, with no sharing of infrastructure. System management is performed through a protected gateway, and full access is auditable.
